Celebrating Women Today with the Fabulous Elaine.

From a TV Executive of HBO, to the effortlessly Chic Sport Loving Elaine. Join us on Elaine’s journey with cashmere and how her wardrobe has evolved over the years.

“When I was at the height of my career, in the US, I biked everywhere. I never in my life wore a helmet but wore my beautiful skirt suits and Jimmy Choo Sandals. I remember I was pedalling to work in this beautiful Maxmara pencil skirt suit. The skirts were so tight I had to stand up and bike pedal. One of my best friend's husband, who lived a block away, yelled at me “You need a helmet” and I said, “No, I need a skirt with a slit up the back.

Now that I am retired I dress extremely casually. I only wear cashmere, all my sweaters and scarves are cashmere. I was a young adult when I discovered it and straight away realised it was the only thing I liked wearing. I never did polyester. I am very attached to my Pashmina scarves, I can wear them 12 months a year. Now that I am not putting the heat on as much, I am only in cashmere.

Covid gave me an excuse to walk much more. London was so deliciously empty, so I got into the walking thing, but it has affected my wardrobe and my identity. How do I look nice without restricting my activities? Now it is more about comfort and Cashmere has always helped in that department.”
