Origins.

Eldon began on Portobello Road.

In 1997, founder Ann Beatty opened a small red cashmere shop on one of London's most beloved streets. It was a simple idea, rooted in a deep belief: that beautiful things, made properly, by people who care, are worth seeking out.

Ann built Eldon on relationships, with the small, family-owned mills of the Scottish Borders, a region with centuries of knitting heritage woven into its landscape, and with the customers who returned year after year for pieces they would keep for a lifetime.

Nearly three decades on, Ann's daughter, Yolande, has joined the business, and Eldon has grown in range, in reach, and in ambition. But the foundations remain unchanged. Everything is still produced in the United Kingdom, still crafted from the finest natural fibres, and still held to the same exacting standards that Ann set from the very beginning.
